Celebrating GCSE excellence across Cognita schools
We’re proud to celebrate the GCSE and IGCSE results of our students in 2026 who have shown genuine dedication, character and intellectual ambition throughout their studies.
This year, Cognita students achieved 50% of exams graded 7+ (A*–A equivalent), more than double the UK national average of 21.8%.
Across our schools, highlights included:
- North Bridge House Canonbury, UK: 64% of exams were graded 7+ and 98% were graded 4+.
- Repton Abu Dhabi, UAE: 63.5% of exams were graded 7+ and 98% were graded 4+.
- Repton Al Barsha, UAE: 63% of exams were graded 7+ and 96% were graded 4+.
- CHIREC International School, India: With one of the largest cohorts across Cognita schools, 61% of exams were graded 7–9, with 1 in 3 exams (33%) graded 9.
Earlier this year, our students achieved exceptional results in their IB Diploma Programme and A Level exams.
Dr. Simon Camby, Chief Schools Officer – East & Chief Education Officer, commented:
“These results are a moment to recognise the commitment and talent of our students across the globe. Behind every grade is a young person who worked hard and believed in what they were capable of achieving. Congratulations to you all.”
