Cognita launches “In Conversation” roundtable series to explore the future of education
Cognita is proud to introduce Cognita in Conversation, a new roundtable series that brings together students and global education leaders to explore the ideas shaping teaching and learning today and into the future.
In a world where change is constant and the demands on learners and teachers are evolving rapidly, this series aims to spark meaningful dialogue around the skills and mindsets young people need to thrive. Each episode will highlight different themes that are central to shaping education — beginning with future skills.
Episode 1: Spotlight on Future Skills
The first episode is inspired by the World Economic Forum’s emphasis on essential capabilities for the modern world — including analytical and creative thinking, leadership and social influence, empathy, and active listening.
Students from Stamford American International School, Singapore, and Australian International School in Singapore reflect on how they’re developing these key skills in real time. Their insights are paired with expert perspectives from Dr. Florian Ciprian Baciu, Senior International Baccalaureate World Schools Manager, and Dr Mark Wenzel, Cognita’s Director of Education in Asia.
Together, they offer a powerful glimpse into how education is evolving to meet the needs of today’s learners — and tomorrow’s leaders.
