Repton Dubai, one of our prestigious partner schools in the UAE, has celebrated the official opening of its newly upgraded campus – a landmark investment in holistic education designed to enrich every aspect of student development. The world-class facilities include the Repton Performing Arts Centre, Repton Sports Village, and a transformed Early Years Centre, all reinforcing the school’s commitment to nurturing student growth academically, physically and emotionally.

The official opening ceremony, held on 11 September and attended by Her Excellency Aisha Miran, Director General of the Knowledge and Human Development Authority (KHDA), celebrated the launch of these state-of-the-art learning environments, along with a new school Reception that warmly reflects Repton’s proud heritage and future ambitions.

At the heart of the expansion is the Repton Performing Arts Centre — a cultural hub featuring a 600-seat auditorium, purpose-built dance and drama studios, professional music rooms, and industry-standard recording facilities. This creative centre reflects the school’s belief that the arts are essential to wellbeing, expression and confident communication.

The new Repton Sports Village embodies the school’s ethos that sport and physical activity are fundamental to character building and personal growth. Students now benefit from extensive facilities including two full-sized rugby and football pitches, a junior field, a 200-metre running track, a 100-metre sprint track and a 1,600m² multi-sport astro-turf with a central cricket square and nets. Shaded outdoor courts, enhanced indoor sports halls and a refurbished swimming pool ensure every learner has the opportunity to lead a healthy and active life.

For younger learners, the transformed Early Years Centre inspires exploration and self-expression through imaginative spaces such as the Wonder Library, Imaginarium and Calm Zone

David Baldwin, Chief Executive Officer Middle East said: “Repton’s new performing arts, sports and learning environments reaffirm our commitment to world-class education and advancing students learning and wellbeing. Building on 18 years of excellence in Dubai and over 400 years of UK heritage, these facilities will inspire creativity and ambition, giving our students exceptional opportunities to excel and grow.”

Michael Bloy, Principal of Repton Dubai said: “Our new facilities enrich daily life at Repton Dubai. They inspire creativity, performance, and athletic achievement, helping our students refine their skills and unlock their potential both within the curriculum and beyond. This investment goes beyond facilities and reflects our vision to nurture confident, resilient, and well-rounded individuals, where arts, sports and academics together form the foundation for lifelong success.”
