Cognita is proud to celebrate another year of success for our schools in Spain, with strong recognition across the 2026 rankings published by Micole, El Mundo, Forbes, El Español and ABC.

All ten Cognita schools, including Liceo Sorolla International School, our latest addition in Spain, were featured in the Micole rankings this year, with six ranked among the Top 100 schools in Spain. Notably, Mirasur School has maintained its #1 position in Pinto (Madrid), while the British School of Valencia ranks #1 in Valencia City.

In the 2026 Forbes list, nine Cognita schools were recognised, reinforcing our position as a leading provider of premium education in Spain.

In El Mundo, Colegio Internacional Meres continues to thrive academically, ranked among the Top 20 schools in Spain and the leading school in Asturias. The British School of Barcelona, Hastings School, British School of Valencia, ELIS Murcia and The English Montessori School are all featured in the ‘International Schools’ category, while Colegio Europeo de Madrid and Mirasur School are recognised as ‘Notable Schools’.

Our schools also maintained strong visibility in the 2026 rankings published by ABC and El Español, including ELIS Vilamartín featuring in the ‘Most outstanding’ category of the El Español list, reflecting continued national recognition.
