We are excited to confirm that Dunalastair Schools in Santiago, Chile are the latest members to join our Cognita family in Latin America.

Dunalastair Schools is a network of three sites in different areas of Santiago. Though each site is a full 3-18 school with its own management team, the network collaborate closely together as a single institution, offering the same curriculum in all three. The schools seek excellence in teaching and learning through a balanced skills-based curriculum and place a strong emphasis on the use of technology in furthering their students’ learning goals. Their growing emphasis on skills such as collaborative learning, critical thinking, communication and creativity, as well as their focus on citizenship and personal and social development, makes them a natural fit with many of our wider schools within Cognita.

Commenting on the news, Josep Caubet, Chief Executive Officer of Cognita LatAm, said: “It is a tremendous honour to welcome Dunalastair to our worldwide Cognita family. When we founded Cognita LatAm back in 2012, one of our dreams was partnering with both Celia and John because we were amazed by their vision and outstanding pedagogical project. It is now a privilege to work together in creating an even more innovative and global educational environment for all Dunalastair students, and also sharing this best practice with our other schools around the world, who are already eager to collaborate!”

Welcome to our Cognita global family, Dunalastair!
