Sealyham, comprising of a superb Grade 2 listed mansion and associated 90-acre grounds, has been acquired by Active Learning Group (a division of Cognita), joining Cuffley to become the organisation’s second Active Learning Centre.

Situated close to beautiful Pembrokeshire coast, in South West Wales, Sealyham Active Learning Centre will offer students a range of fun and immersive outdoor learning and adventure experiences. Before the doors open, a full refurbishment will take place to modernise the centre and bring it up to the current high standards that are provided at Cuffley Active Learning Centre in Hertfordshire, UK.

Underpinning an Active Learning Centre is the value of a personalised experience. Activities are tailored according to the specific environment; bespoke programmes can be compiled for schools; and accommodation, dining and facilities are of the highest provision.

Speaking of the venture, Pat Milston, Managing Director for Active Learning Centres, explains: “Our ambition is to develop Sealyham Active Learning Centre as a high quality and inspirational outdoor learning experience. Our vision is to develop a series of activity experiences that place the stunning Pembrokeshire environment at their heart, supported by class-leading facilities and outstanding customer service together with a management and instructor team that really understands the importance of building Essential Skills, Character and Wellbeing”.
