Founded in 1916, Salcombe is an independent preparatory school for girls and boys between 3 and 11 years of age. Located on two neighbouring sites in Southgate, North London; Salcombe is renowned for the highest standards of academic achievement, and the happy, confident and successful students it produces.

Having been in education for over 20 years, working in a range of Junior and Prep schools both in the UK and Abu Dhabi. Nicola became Head of Salcombe Preparatory School in September 2021. Through her five years at Duncombe School, in the role as Deputy Head, she came to understand how the Cognita family of schools supports one another, while providing a sound and inspiring education for children. Nicola is looking forward to the next stage of her leadership journey at Salcombe.
