With an all-female senior school faculty, we create a safe, supportive, and inspiring environment for pupils aged 2 to 18. We welcome both boys and girls in Pre-Prep and Lower Prep (ages 3–9) and offer a girls-only education from Upper Prep onwards (ages 9–18).

Deborah Sharifi
Head of School
Deborah graduated from Manchester University before completing her teaching qualification and Masters in Educational Leadership in the UK. After teaching in England, Deborah moved to the Middle East where she has held senior positions in the region’s leading international schools, while also raising her family.
Deborah joined Downe House Riyadh from Sheikh Zayed Private Academy for Girls in the UAE, a school renowned for its high standards and shared educational philosophy with Downe House, and prior to that she was the Head of Jeddah Prep and Grammer School in the Kingdom.
