About

Dasman Bilingual School, formally known as Dasman Model School, opened its doors to 400 students in 1996 with a vision of bringing together the better of two worlds, equipping students with tools to deal with the rise of a global society. Over time, the school grew steadily to now include seven buildings and over 3500 students. Dasman is home to one of the largest private school campuses in Kuwait and we are proudly the ONLY school that promotes inclusiveness and integration between our mainstream and special needs students, creating an awareness much needed in today’s world.

Dasman Bilingual School proudly offers its students the global accreditation required for the future academic achievements.  As members of the Council of International Schools (CIS) , New England Associations of Schools and Colleges (NEASC), ASDAN, and BTECH. Dasman Bilingual School has endorsed its fundamental commitment to providing students with the knowledge, skills, values and competencies to pursue their lives as global citizens.

We embrace the UN declaration of Human rights and the convention of the rights of the child, employing highly qualified teachers who work with us for the continuous development and distinctive school reputation. Dasman Bilingual School has more than 600 staff of different nationalities and applies safe practices in recruiting, working towards fostering the professional and practical cooperation for continuous growth and professional development.

Ms. Samar Dizmen

School Superintendent

I am thrilled and thankful to be leading this exciting and innovative community. I am inspired by our mission of providing an educational experience that is rigorous, well-rounded, and relevant to our students. In my years at Dasman Bilingual School (DBS), it has been my privilege to see the positive impact that the combination of various programs, qualified staff and excellent facilities has had on our students. I have seen that DBS graduates are confident and go forth to meet the intellectual, social, and moral challenges that lie ahead, poised not only to do well in life but also to do good in the world.

I believe that DBS is positioned to prepare graduates to become leaders in the 21st century. Through our student-centred and active learning approaches our students hone essential skills like critical thinking, creativity, communication, and collaboration.

As a means of informing and communicating, DBS provides you with a handbook for each division which is filled with the school's purpose, procedures, and operational policies.
