Continued A Level success for The British School of Barcelona

Written by: British School of Barcelona

Sixth Formers at The British School of Barcelona have continued the school’s long-running academic success at A Level. A*–C grades have increased by 20% this year and this is reflected in the university offers our pupils have accepted, with four of them entering undergraduate studies at Imperial and others going to Durham, UCL, Bristol and Edinburgh, to name but a few. Some students have gained places at top universities in countries such as the US, Switzerland and Spain (including ESADE Business School).

Particular congratulations go to Víctor, who achieved 3 A* and 3 A grades, as well as Marina and Margaux, with 2 A* and 3 A at A Level. Jaime and Nicholas also obtained exceptional A*/A grades. We wish them all every success as they move on with their academic careers.

Dr Josep González, Headmaster, said: ‘These results are well above UK expectations and they are excellent by any standard, most particularly if we consider that for 67% of our students English is not their first language. I am very proud of this Sixth Form cohort who, thanks to their hard work and perseverance, have managed to continue the school’s great academic tradition.’
