Cognita speaks to key figures in UK education at The Festival of Education 2018

Cognita is proud to be the official content partner for the biggest event in the UK education calendar; the 2018 Festival of Education at Wellington College.

Across the two days of the 2018 Festival of Education, an impressive line up of educators and influencers delivered talks, including Matthew Syed, Tessa Dunlop and Piers Morgan. We are especially proud that four Cognita colleagues – Simon Camby, Group Director of Education, Cognita; Chris Jansen, CEO Cognita Schools; Brendan Pavey, Headteacher, North Bridge House Senior School; Sarah Ebery, Headteacher, Meoncross School – joined their ranks.

Daniel Cummings, Headmaster of Cumnor House School for Boys, a Cognita school in the UK, sat down Laura McInerney and Professor Becky Allen, Co-Founders of Teacher Tapp, during the Festival to talk about how their app is helping uncover how teachers really feel on a daily basis. You can see what they had to say in the video below:

Simon Camby, our Director of Education, also spoke to Sir Michael Wilshaw straight after his on-stage interview with Piers Morgan. Sir Michael shared with us his thoughts on the state of education in the UK today:

At the end of Day One, we produced a short video review of the day, which you can watch and share below:
