Cognita Europe team launches Three Peaks charity challenge

Colleagues from Cognita’s European business have launched a challenge to scale ‘Three Peaks’ of the UK and raise money for The British Red Cross.

An initial group successfully completed a trial climb of the Snowdonia mountain range in 4 hours and 30 minutes, taking 21,992 steps and covering 14 kilometres (5k up and 9k down) to reach the summit of Mount Snowdon. Their target on the day of the main challenge will be 3 hours 45 minutes.

The next stage is to complete a trial climb of two peaks – Scafell Pike and Snowdon – at the end of June. This will give the challenge participants even more experience of the travelling, climbing and determination required to complete the main event on 21st July.

The team is still looking for additional participants from across the Cognita group to join them in the Three Peaks challenge and help raise as much money for The British Red Cross as possible. If you are interested, please contact
