Cognita communities around the world pay tribute on World Teachers’ Day 2018

World Teachers’ Day is a UNESCO-backed annual celebration that recognises teachers and the contribution they make in all parts of the world. This year, World Teachers’ Day took place on Friday 5th October.

Cognita schools around the world marked the occasion by filming tributes to the teacher that has had had the biggest impact on their educational journey, whether that is right now for those studying in our schools, or sometime in the past for those who have gone on to become teachers themselves.

So many students, staff and even parents got involved and proudly shared their teacher tributes on social media. As everyone paid their teacher tribute simultaneously on World Teachers’ Day, we were able to celebrate and honour the vital role that teachers play right across the world!
