You’ll normally be asked to complete an application form and provide a comprehensive covering letter to help us understand why you want to work for us. Cognita does not have an online application process at present but specific details on how to apply will be provided for each vacancy.
You’ll receive an email to confirm that we’ve received your application. We will then shortlist and if your application meets our criteria, we will invite you to attend a selection event.
The assessment depends on the role, but you may be asked to participate in some of the following:

This is dependent on the post applied for and is specified in the candidate pack.

Yes, the Company/School may be able to sponsor your work permit application provided that you meet the eligibility criteria pre-determined by the local authority in each country.
Applicants are not required to complete a formal English language test. Indeed, ability tests and psychometric personality tests can be completed in your mother tongue. However, a good level of verbal and written English is required.
All successful applicants are required to provide two referees, with whom we will then make direct contact (one of these should be from your most recent employer). Background, health, criminal record, safeguarding and other local country authorisation checks will be verified as part of your conditional offer.
This will depend on the role and region. If you are successful at final interview, the time required to process an application is dependent on the receipt of satisfactory pre-employment checks.
You should hear from us within two weeks of the closing date as to whether or not you have been shortlisted.
Yes. We will contact you at each stage of the recruitment process to advise you of the outcome of your application.
