Prince’s Gardens is a new independent preparatory school, in the heart of Kensington, for boys and girls aged 3 – 11 years. The school building features high tech science labs and a Maker Space, as well as an exceptional environment for your child to grow in the arts, music, sport and drama. It’s also the only central London preparatory school offering two acres of private gardens.
A Prince’s Gardens education is about much more than just academics. The postholder will be responsible for planning and delivering engaging and inspiring lessons that enable young children to make accelerated progress in all areas of learning. To foster a love of learning in all children and an excitement about coming to school each day. This role will have a key focus for teaching subjects across the curriculum, not covered by specialist staff as well as form teacher responsibilities.
Key Accountabilities will include planning, preparing, delivering, and evaluating teaching and learning to pupils in your class. Ensuring that any teaching assistants are used appropriately and demonstrate the ability to break down concepts and learning objects into small steps and deliver them as lesson and activities. The postholder will create a high quality, rich, stimulating and enabling learning environment that is planned to ensure accelerated progress but also contains items that will capture pupils’ attention and lead to independent exploration.
