AIS Netball UK Tour ends with sweeping success for the school

Written by: Cognita ExPro

The girls from the Australian International School at Singapore have just returned from their Tour of the UK after an undefeated streak of 8 victories. Yet it was not as easy as it would seem, as many teams put up quite a fight. Still they managed to win, and will gladly receive any of the schools at Singapore for a rematch.

It has been a long and tiring stretch, as the team travelled over 700 miles (or more than 1100 kilometres) playing against Hydesville Tower, Akeley Wood, Quinton House, Colchester High, Sackville, Meoncross, Chilton Cantelo and St. Clare’s. The team got also to visit North Bridge House School in London, but the match had to be suspended due to weather conditions being far from ideal.

Special thanks are due to all the staff and children at our schools. They went out of their way to make the AIS team feel welcome and at home at all times, and provided a clear idea of the synergies Cognita can create. In this case it was through sport, but there’s so much more to see and enjoy for future events.
